Counselling Services

I offer a safe, compassionate and confidential space for you to explore life's challenges.

I offer a safe, grounded space for you to explore life's challenges. In addition to supporting anxiety and stress, I have experience in Somatic Therapy, Trauma Treatment, and Neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), providing affirming care for those navigating a world not always built for their brain.

Together, we will work at your pace to help you understand yourself and move toward meaningful change.

How I Work

My approach is Integrative and Somatic-informed.

This means we don't just 'talk about' problems; we also pay attention to how your body holds stress and past experiences, helping you find deeper regulation and healing.

Referrals

I am part of a small network of trusted counsellors and psychotherapists who share similar values and professional standards. If at any point I feel another practitioner might better meet your needs, I'll discuss this openly with you and can offer a peer-supported referral, so you continue receiving the best possible care.

If you're looking for counselling support but are unsure where to start,  you can find trained and accredited therapists through the BACP Therapist Directory.

Counselling and Psychotherapy
What's the Difference?

Both counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe and confidential space to explore what's happening in your life, but they can differ slightly in focus and depth.

  • Counselling often focuses on specific issues or life situations, such as stress, anxiety, loss or relationship difficulties. It can help you develop insight, coping strategies, and confidence to move forward.

  • Psychotherapy tends to work at a deeper level, exploring patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may have developed over time. It supports longer-term personal growth, self-awareness and healing. As a BSc (Hons) qualified Psychotherapist, I am trained to work at this deeper level, helping you untangle long-standing patterns and somatic (body-based) responses to stress.

I offer both counselling and psychotherapy, depending on your needs. Together, we will discuss what approach feels most suitable for you and the goals you want to achieve.
