About Catherine
Hi, I'm Catherine Cassells, an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist (MBACP) based in Moy, Northern Ireland.
I know that life doesn't happen in a straight line. Whether you're navigating a major relationship shift, managing a chronic condition, or simply trying to understand your own neurodivergent brain, I'm here to help you untangle it all.
My approach is grounded, inclusive, and above all human. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to explore their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgement.
With years of experience supporting people of all ages, I’ve learned that there is no 'one size fits all' for healing.
My approach is integrative, which simply means I draw from different therapeutic tools to find what works for your unique life and your unique brain.
Each session is personalised - created with you and for you.
Who I Work With
Whether you are navigating the sensory overwhelm of a neurodivergent world, managing the quiet exhaustion of chronic illness, or facing a major shift in a relationship, you don't have to carry the weight alone.
I specialise in supporting people who feel lost, unheard, or unsure of their direction in life, including single parents, those going through divorce or separation, or big life changes.
I work with clients living with chronic illness, helping them cope with the emotional and psychological challenges of long term health conditions.

While our work is built on human connection, it is supported by a foundation of rigorous clinical training
Clinical Excellence & Professional Integrity
In an unregulated field, I believe your safety depends on the rigour of your therapist's training.
My practice is built on a foundation of dual-qualification and continuous academic study, ensuring that our work together is grounded in
proven clinical methods.

What to Expect in Our First Session
The first time we sit down together is all about helping you feel at ease. We’ll start with a cup of tea or a glass of water in my quiet, private room here in Moy.
Before we dive in, we’ll quickly chat through the practical bits, like how I protect your privacy and the boundaries that keep our sessions a safe space for you.
My goal is for you to feel completely informed and in control from the very first minute.
We’ll then spend some time simply talking about what’s brought you here and what you hope to feel differently in your life. There’s no pressure to have all the answers; we’re just seeing if we ‘click’ and figuring out how I can best support you. If it feels right, we’ll begin our journey together from there.
